Job Title: EV Technician

Location: New Delhi

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated EV Technician to join our team in New Delhi. As an EV Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests, repairing, and maintaining electric vehicles, installing electric vehicle charging equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Additionally, you will assist in the development of new EV technologies and provide technical support to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostic Testing:

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic tests on electric vehicles to accurately identify and assess malfunctions or issues.
• Utilize specialized diagnostic equipment and software to evaluate the performance and functionality of EV systems.

Repairs and Maintenance:

• Perform detailed repairs and maintenance on various electric vehicle systems, including battery packs, electric motors, power electronics, and control systems.
• Replace or repair faulty components, ensuring the vehicle meets performance and safety standards.

Installation and Maintenance of Charging Equipment:

• Install, configure, and maintain electric vehicle charging stations and related infrastructure.
• Ensure that charging equipment is operating efficiently and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards related to electric vehicle repair and maintenance.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Research and Development:

• Assist in the research and development of new electric vehicle technologies and advancements.
• Provide input and feedback on prototype testing, system design, and performance evaluations.

Customer Support:

• Offer technical support and guidance to customers experiencing issues with their electric vehicles.
• Communicate complex technical information in an understandable manner to help customers resolve problems.

Troubleshooting:

• Analyze and diagnose complex electrical and mechanical issues in electric vehicles.
• Develop effective solutions to resolve technical problems and improve vehicle performance.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all diagnostic tests, repairs, services, and installations.
• Document all work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and any modifications made to the vehicle.

Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with other technicians, engineers, and team members to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
• Share knowledge and expertise to help improve team performance and technical capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge and experience in electric vehicle systems.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electric vehicle components.
• Experience in installing and maintaining electric vehicle charging equipment.
• Understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to electric vehicles.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues.
• Experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Relevant certification or diploma in automotive technology or a related field.
