About the role

Name of the position: Test Engineer – EV testing

Educational Qualification: BE/BTech/MTech in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical Engineering Position Description: Conduct durability and reliability tests for Electrical & Electronic components, sub-systems and vehicles.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Study and understand test standard requirements for electric vehicles.
  • Prepare vehicle/ powertrain/ component for testing.
  • Design & development of fixture required for testing.
  • Prepare test equipment, plan of test schedule, and write and execute the test program.
  • Conduct tests and make observations as per standards & conduct root cause analysis for failures identified during testing.
  • Establish lab-to-field correlation through instrumentation, data acquisition & analysis.
  • Develop LABCAR setup for conducting durability tests.
  • Implement lab automation and digitalization projects as per plan.
